While on this side of the portal the faithful followers defended the honor of their leaders in a tournament, beyond the temporal fracture, events happened as expected. Everything was calm in the main field camp of the scientific expedition, and the court wizard did not fail to take advantage of this calmness. Bringing with him a decent supply of captured time crystals, Abu-Bekr, accompanied by his seven assistants, quietly left the perimeter of the camp to perform a mysterious ritual.

At sunset, a few hours before the closing of the portal, all the magical preparations were finally completed. On a small hill far from the main fighting, the imperial mages, using the time crystals, laid out an intricate pattern on the ground, after which Abu-Bekr became its center, and his assistants settled down around the circle. Keeping in front of him the open ancient book, taken long ago from the hands of a high priestess of amphibians, the court wizard squeezed the handle of his staff and recited the words of a spell while luminously drawing in the air the same pattern as the one laid out under his feet. As the staff moved slowly and steadily, the crystals on the ground began to glow, and with each moment the sounds of the surrounding nature became more quiet, as if the wizards were gradually shielding themselves from the rest of the world.

Finally, when the pattern was completely finished, the world around it seemed to stop - and at that very moment there was a flash of light, quite bright but strangely enough not blinding, followed by another flash, this time causing the outlines of one of Abu-Bekr's assistants, standing at his right hand, to change for a moment. The traditional gold embroidered robe turned into a black jacket with a hood covering the upper face, and a modest tarpaulin beard was replaced by a much more respectable gray beard. Sensing something strange, the court wizard looked to his right, but at that moment there was a third flash, followed by a shock wave that threw the wizards in different directions, and Abu-Bekr himself simply disappeared. A few moments of complete calm - and with another flash, the court wizard was back in the same place where he had stood a little earlier. On his face was a mixture of amazement and bewilderment, and from his lips a question was whispered, either to himself or somewhere in the void, "The gods ... are dead?" Without a moment's loss, Abu-Bekr slammed the book shut and rushed back to the camp, plunging himself into deep thoughts and not paying any attention to his assistants who were slowing regaining their senses.

Lords and Ladies, the favourable period has expired and the portal of time has again closed, marking the end of our campaign into the past. Abu-Bakir personally thanks everyone who responded to his call and helped keep the scientific expedition safe from harm. For the hardiness and bravery shown, everyone who managed to collect at least 500 crystals of time will be awarded with a special unique artifact. Its durability depends on the number of crystals collected!

 
 


All those who collected at least 250 crystals have been awarded with 1 to 30 pieces of the Imperial cloak. The number too depends on the number of crystals collected.



All Lords and Ladies who have won at least one battle are entitled to a gold reward for their contribution! The exact amount depends on your number of victories and your combat level. Make sure to visit the Portal of Time page to collect your reward.



The top 16 clans will be generously rewarded with gold from the treasury of the Empire and battle glory points.
