| Black dragons is immune to magic but they get dmg from Poisoners poison... |
| technically poisoners do a physical attack, once the ennemy is hit then it get a poison debuff. and i'm pretty sure the damage formula is different than the poison spell. |
Difference "Decay", from "Poison".
Decay is Magic Dmg, Poison could be put as "True?" Damage I guess.

Like, Poison doesnt get decreased by Physical or Magic Resistances, but IIRC it does get decreased by the 3% FSL Resist thing.
Decay is decreased by pretty much all forms of Magic Resist.

I think they used to be the same before and they divided them, or so, IDK. |
| Thnx |
| Decay does Earth damage. So yeah, magic proofs and resistances, as well as earth immunities lower it. |
| Also, and in relation to the Decay spell, "immune" doesn't mean an absolute resistance; but rather a "100% resistance". As such, it can be lowered with piercing abilities. |
| ^ thats the case with all magic. Thats why wizards can hurt black dragons. |
I just wanted to know if it is magic, I know about resistance and piersing.
In my case drags received 121 poison dmg (it was 121 poisoner in a stack). |
^ Really?
So the 3% thing doesnt affect Poison? So really "True Damage" as I said?
I'd be surprised, IDK. |
To answer the question.

Poison is true damage and can't be reduced
It is not magic, simply damage.
