Being new I would understand that I've cannot expect to access every aspect of the game straight away to the same extent. Of course I know I am not new, but am sufficiently confident that this would be how I would view it if I was. |

It's not exactly how it works though. It's more ok you're new but it doesn't matter because if you pay up 500k then you can play everything like an old player. |

This marks an year since I returned ;)
I was in the same boat as Uncle Psycho last Grinch event. But I have a feeling that it was much easier last time around. There has been an inflation in the difficulty owing to rising average LeG levels, which only makes it harder for newbies now. But they also have a potion, which didn't exist last year.
I guess if you have more than 10 uncommons and the potion, you can definitely have some amount of fun with this event.
Should be an easy event this time around for me. I have my ascetics and black knights and I feel unstoppable :D
Grinch didn't have hero based enemies last time around. I hope that changes. The castle-defense levels of last event were the most fun part. |
Efreeti + Satyr reward.
Efreeti initiative is too high, makes them go before punishers. But still, having judgement + two fireball troops (Ascetics, Efreeti) would be pretty cool. Will definitely come useful some day.
Numbers are also little, so weak fireball. And apart from fireball, Efreeti are very weak fighters.
Glad to see satyrs at last. Weaker than leprechauns, but better than having neither. |

There's no assurance you will enjoy event even after paying 150k. In fact, you'll almost definitely not be able to finish event to any satisfaction with the troops you have now + 150k worth.
You'll have a fighting chance if you buy ascetics + black knights for 600k each. But even that is no assurance.
These events require good diversity in your troops. It's hard to comment without having seen all the levels, but safest advise would be to You have very few LeG troops. Best to skip event imo.
