Answer to that is: You don't, unless you are of low level, then the difficulty is severly toned down. It is so you will keep on playing this game untill you reach a certain high level, then the beatdowns will start with the extreme difficulties and whatnots. The administration knows that by this time you will have invested so much time and effort that you won't quit that easily as you would have done had this been the case in the lower levels. That is until they reach a certain threshold. With their cranking up the difficulty each time, I'm sure they'll reach it soon.
Is it worth to buy Sphinx over the Assault elephants?

Sphinx: 7199
Assault elephants: 2284

Do you think Sphinx price will go down?
I give up on statue already. I dont want to wait half year for cheap troops.

Full might build right from level 1. Didn't aim for the statue. Aimed for the achievement and the accompanied artifact.

i want no comments on the fight, i did not play to win but to test the mis write, the description of fate spinner says that the glaze should work once every combat but in this glitch it works with every attack wtf
Let those transform. Shooters are way eeaker than mele.
Killing look of the spinners is something else than that glaze ability.
You will be able to hire more troops on the next enemy levels

pretty much impossible, lvl 17 opponent with 1 morale and 2 luck gets 6 times consecutive luck and 3 consecutive morale with its big stacks, not once but in three attempts, fu admins

Not sure whether to go for jackals or mummies to replace shooters, which with the adapt ability become useless after teh first hit, particulaly if against a non player controlled army.

So far my single sphinx mummy is showing his worth, though may replace him and shooters for two big stacks of mummies and ancient mummies.

Any thoughts?

I found that troops with resurrect can have a huge impact. I won lvl 50 losing around 50% of the troops.

I went for max Jackals (140)and Jackal-Worriors (100). They can do a lot of damage. And the enemy doesn't focus them at first. And when they do, kill 100 and 50 will come back to live :)

Anubises Warriors (8) are good for shooting first at the enemy shooters. Enemy focuses them, so they can tank some damage while your jackals can focus and kill a stack at a time.

Sun Priestesses - Are only good for resurrection. It takes the enemy around 2 turns to kill 8 Anubises. Than I resurrect them and get another 2 turns. That's 4 turns that I have with my jackals to kill 4 deadly enemy stacks.

Sphynx Mummies - Are only good to mass disrupt enemies without hero, or 70% confusion on a deadly shooter stack.

Assault Elephants - I got 25 of them. Good tanking units and they also do decent damage.
Thanks for peoples advice, though in the end despite two people using both types of jackals, and them working well, I went for mummies. Workig fine, though they are a magnet for enemy attention since they hit so much harder than anything else. Their lack of speed is compensated by their high initiative. I think I may get some ancient mummies as well so that I can raise them if I want to. Should neutralise most single high risk stacks with the option of mass curse, weakness and confusion both if ranged and the inevitable retal damage when you hit them.

Key thing for me is mummies cost about half the amount to max out how many you have, so maybe I won;t need to beat every single level to comfortably complete it in min AP
