And what did I tell you, there it is a new strong donation creature, super elite crossbowmen, get them before pikemen gets nerfed and sour away.

Don't worry, leader events are very Fair.
Make it more pay2win everytime :)

I seem to remember like a 2nd upgrade that would come in late game like lvl20+

13 years passed and still can't edit posts.
Stats for pickman for those who recruited them into army 1h after midnight for 41-50 level. Basing on those who shares set-ups.

-1st place 6 times
-2nd place once
-3rd place 2 times
-4th place once
Oh god 41-50 took too much effort
any idea how to beat level 50 with no access to any kind of spells or epic units?

Lizard cavalry, magi, battle nmagi.
45 again stuck, genies casting decay in all three battles on me damn
#92 appreciate your try, but i have no access to magi and most other types of spellcasters, thats why i asked.

I finally did it with lizards, gremlin wreckers and grotesques after burning through a lot of gold.

Whatever profit was made admins made sure it got taken back with interest in the levels 41-50. You got to love how thoughtfull the admins are towards the players, especially how the new super donation creature appeared not at the start of the event but at 4th day of it. How else would the pikemen get sold for 600k had they released it at the start of the event. It's smart thinking by the admins, smart thinking as in outsmarting the players. Nothing but a total shakedown. Genius.

I am sure you are still running on profit in gold spend resurrecting vs gold reward. I just ran my numbers and i am about 20k+ already including having burned 20k on wave 50. That is without any type of donation or magi-type unit which would have been really useful.
Admin greed regarding pikemen and the new unit is real though. But its up to the players to resist. So far, these type of units were practical but not essential in these events.

I guess genie rng is the most limiting factor here.

It is really odd how certain 'specific' people get different AI settings:
The AI gremlin wreckers keep putting the mines at the back of his units instead of in front of them which it did to me and others:

Saw similar AI behaviour at other levels as well, especially at level 41, where the huge stack of elite forestkeepers and the nomads would come as they do in their first turns but somehow the elite forestkeeper then would do 1 step back in its second turn and the nomads also going back and then charge anyway in their 3th turn which was even before any of your units turns, as in they waste their second turns, I had to play that level 9 times and it never moved once like that in any of my battles.

At level 50 of mine the spies monster stayed inside the castle at its first turn while it goes in position for the lizard charge in others:

Funny thing here is that the nomads in their second turn even go back and then charge in their 3th turn anyway while both of those turns are before the lizards get their next turn. Had this been a huge nomads stack this alone makes a huge difference in difficulty.

It's things like these that have become more and more noticable that turned this game sour. Even trying to look at it objectively it is still crystal clear.
Sorry Lawton, I saw some gremlins hanging out before your fight. I said to them:

'Hey guys I know you're pretty stupid. That's cool, you just continue doing your normal retarded stuff. On 1 condition...'

'Go on', said the gremlins

'If you see a guy called Lawton just screw him over in any way you can. Put your mines in front, tell the spy to camp in the castle. Just try a bit harder than you normally would, do some unpredictable stuff.'

'Why?' they asked
