How to identify an art's cost

AuthorHow to identify an art's cost
Hi
How do I know the cost price for a particular event art?

In the market I see a lot of variations and that is what sellers are demanding. What about the last transaction price?

Thank you in advance
It depends on supply and demand. You can't fix a specific price for event arts/non-standard arts.

Their price varies depending on factors such as:
1) Repair cost
2) Availability (how many of them were given out during the event)
3) Set bonus (if they are part of a set and how good the bonus is)
4) How useful it would be (What stats/bonus it provides)
Sorry for double post

A very important factor is the maximum durability as that determines how many times you can reuse it while keeping it's cost per battle low enough
Thanks Santremus. Highly appreciated.

These points can help modifying the usual price of an art. But what if you have no clue at all about the base price?

Like if I want to evaluate the price of this art:
https://www.lordswm.com/art_info.php?id=dun_armor3&uid=361865521&crc=idd1d015ee

I think set bonus is good for a level 5 player.
Art itself(alone) looks good.
Repair price looks cheap to me (I am comparing to sword of cold).

But I am not sure about availability. I can see 2 such arts on market. One of them has a durability close to this art. 75/75

Looking at the price on market for the 75/75 one, I think it has been over priced. Do you think the same?

Also considering the price of 75/75 art as it is, is it safe to assume that 73/73 dura art would be around the same range but slightly cheaper? Like 5-10k less than 75/75
Time to do some math

The 75/75 on market costs 184000 (https://www.lordswm.com/auction_lot_protocol.php?id=102331913)

With a repair cost of 12000, you could get an ideal cost per battle of approximately 329.58(gold/battle) over 1687 battles bringing overall cost to 556001.

The 48/55 on market costs 47000 (https://www.lordswm.com/auction_lot_protocol.php?id=102344028)

Similar to the above calculation, it comes out to 334.37 cpb over 643 battles for a total of 215000 gold.

While overall the 75/75 costs more gold, you do get about 2.6 more battles out of it per battle with the other one. It also works out to be cheaper per battle, albeit slightly (which adds up in the long run).

The cost per battle metric is usually used as an indicator to see if it's worth buying/selling. Would you be willing to pay ~340 gold per battle with that dungeon armour? The set really begins coming together when you have 4 of them, to get that +6 Attack bonus/30% Magic Shield.

You also need to consider when you'd want to use them (AG or specific events or clan stuff)

Oh it still exists! I thought it would have been shut down till now. Great to see it working <3
for Meshy:
Thanks Mesh, didn't bother looking that up
@Meshy @Santremus:
Going by that calculation, the price of 73/73 dura turns out to be 165000 for cost per battle to be 322.

Next question is would people offer so much for an art?
