Fighting against a wizard of level 16+ with new troops coming in every 4-5 turns is a nightmare
I was wrong. Level 17 might necro with 32 vampires is a nightmare. You don't get all your troops attacking them at the same time. They restore complete HP in 1 attack.

there are so many troops that die on battle field that it is difficult to find surviving troops

Attack or defence orientated builds depends upon talents and relative stats of the opposition and liklihood of buildinng able to dictate first hit.

In this particular set up.
we have no talents, but the enemy may have offence talents. IF you have high defence the basic damage is less, so the 10% increase etc is less significant.

with large difference in stats the % benefit of greater difference becomes more significant. When you have an HP advantage (as we have here) then lowering the damage they deal (at the expense of your own damage dealt) means that over the long term the extra hp will come to bear
