To get to max smith you need 2885 points, which will require the investment of 11.54 Million gold. However, there is a trade off that you get product back for this. Assuming you either get repair fees equivalent to repair percentage (or else your saving on artifact costs is also equivalent to the repair percentage.
Then the value of the repairs made to get to max smith is 7.716 Million gold, meaning the net likely cost to get to max smith is 3.82 Million gold.
Once you get to max smith, you can generally charge 100% repair cost (or a touch more) and so the progression to the next level to get simultaneous enchant and repair should be at zero gold cost, though perhaps a lot of time. |
I think that 1 hour of repair time is worth 4000 repair cost. Assuming you are a max smith level and 3.82 million cost to get there and that you charge 101%, it means you would get back 40 gold per hour.
It would take 95 500 hours of smithing to pay back your investment. Assuming contant smithing, you would need about 3 979 days of smithing, ie. a bit more than 10 years of sleepless nights and lots of redbull cans to recoup your investment. |
