The Northern Desert’s endless sands are the cradle of the Pharaoh’s ancient civilization. Whose Sun once shone so brightly that, being blinded by its rays, they could not even see the rapidly approaching sunset. And now, they finally saw the dawn again after centuries of wandering in the shadows of night.Though slightly clouded by a short-term eclipse, these sands were again illuminated with a noble light of clarity and understanding, with the fall of the last dark standard. Just pitiful ruins remained from that ancient civilization, finally destroyed and plundered by the war. Perhaps one day the Empire’s standard will wave over these parts, but for now it has enough worries without this corner of our world forgotten by the Gods. And therefore, her glorious Lords and Ladies were preparing for a triumphant return home having fulfilled this promise, leaving the retaked lands at the full disposal of their ancient masters.
Meanwhile, two pharaohs watched from the sidelines.. One of them was of a very respectable age, as clearly shown by his abundant grey. The other looked very young, as if he was not even twenty years old. And although the centuries spent under the curse slightly reduced the relative difference in their age - they were all the same in the peak of their spirits as they were once upon a time, during at the height of their civilization.
"What do you say, teacher?" the young Pharaoh asked excitedly.

"On the very day when, on the advice of the night prophet, I swore the faith to the Sun king," he sighed heavily, realizing what this moment of weakness had led to. "Yours is just rising …" the old Pharaoh said meaningfully and continued his leisurely march, leaving his disciple alone with his thoughts.
