Also why are they giving out gold? First time they give out gold to this kind of events lol.

Because people played the event with wrong strategies. Level 1-50 was extremely easy EXCEPT a couple levels at 21-30.
If people learnt to THINK instead of try to brute force and play without brains every level, then that is the issue.
AI teammate was extremely strong and I even seen a player got to level 57 with only 3 stacks of creatures, gnoll shamans, bola throwers and gnolls.
It is important to buff your AI teammate level 1-50 and easy win. Level 51-60 can be a bit tough sometimes, especially for those who came slow to event.
