Not really the same thing. I don't think that proves anything. The rune enables it to the target and all creatures adjacent to the target. Even though the animation shows the attacks in sequence, it probably makes more sense that they actually happen all at once, so would all benefit from the number of tiles walked. | Knockback on retal

Great find. Just shows that the ability description is blatantly wrong & misleading. Disappointing. | Well, maybe. In my experience as a translator, sometimes the description is correct as intended, but the implementation turns out to be buggy. It wouldn't surprise me if the developers implemented this as a multiple-check knockback ability, not realizing that this is an unintended side effect. I don't remember seeing this ability triggered on retaliation in the desktop game.
I can understand when an error is due to omission, but this description about the chance being 0 if the bear attacks in place seems way too explicit to be something that was made up by the original translator. If the old Translation team did their diligence, they would have had verified this information with admins. I know I would.
In any case, if the devs won't change their implementation, then we need to change to description to match. |
