Great Expectations Challenge

Lords, I invite you to participate in the Great Expectations Challenge (inspired by thaidye15). Unlike the Recreate Your Army or the Perfect Battles Challenge 2020 - Grinch Version, The Great Expectations Challenge is not event-bound. Instead, the Great Expectations Challenge is a series of snapshots of your personal journey through Lords of War and Money and an opportunity for you to showcase the skills you have learned along the way.

Challenge rules
- Participate by posting to this thread. Feel free to submit multiple posts as you complete different parts of the challenge.
- The challenge runs from now until February 15th inclusive.
- Phase 2 and Xtra challenge submissions must be from within the last 30 days (at the time of you posting your submission).

Challenge rewards
- 100 gold for each part completed
- 500 gold bonus for completing the whole challenge
- 500 gold for completing the Xtra challenge
- surprise non-monetary reward for completing the whole challenge

Part 1 - Retrospection & Reminiscence
Get ready to go through your combat log!

1.1 First loss.
Find the first battle you lost.

1.3 First friend.
Find the earliest person you played with that is still active (logged in in the last month). Provide the player’s name and a link to the combat.

1.4 First group battle victory.

1.5 Mirror image
Find the combat where you beat your mirror image and joined the Commander’s Guild.

Part 2 - Current Skills Showcase
Remember the combats have to be recent (last 30 days).

2.1 Win a double hunt (you assisting or someone assisting you)

2.2 Win an ambush using a faction other than your strongest (if you don’t have TG yet, get ambushed and win)

2.3 Defeat Dangerous Bandits (LeG)

2.4 Earn 3 stars on a Watcher’s Guild task.

Didn't play with others until I reached level 9 and joined ID. Used to play Survilurg defence together since no one else were around our level at that time. Good days :)

Lucky this is still there lol, had lots before but seems they were all surpassed easy.

Part 2 is something I won't be able to complete, cause I don't have an alternate castle for 2.2, and honestly 2.5 is impossible for factions other than knights or mages.

This was an interesting challenge. Looking back at the Combat Log really was fun XD Can't believe I lost some of those battles lol. Shows how much we've grown :)

Another quick submission! You can do what Sylin did and post only parts of part 2! 2.1 and 2.3 should be pretty easy for you!

For 2.5,Chaos DE might be a good option? I'm thinking going with elemental call against a merc invaders or army? You will end up failing the quest but drawing the battle.

Alternatively (and I believe this is something every faction can do), doing a hunt or MG raid against lava or magma dragons might do the trick. Although I would say that that is harder than going chaos.
