Mad respect for someone willing to put money where his mouth is. Hats off.
MT is a joke. If you are an average player DO NOT play MT.
U will lose so many battles. There are way too many pumped players in MT.

I can only suggest that you go for a build which is not super dependent on stat points.
For example, +3-4 attack on a charmer elf rarely matters against anyone not a full-defense build or mage.
Basically any rock-paper-scissor build, where your rock will beat paper even if you're severly down on stat points. |

| When two players meet, one will lose. I get the impression that everyone is very unhappy with a 50 % score. I mean that minor tournament is where you do have a chance to encounter some average players. But the majority will lose some battles. Some of us will lose many battles. But claiming that the majority of the players in MT are stat monsters (if anyone did claim that - perhaps my interpretation) is simply false. |
| 50%chance to win before battle start is what i want. Else just skip any of these 1v1s. Facing someone with 6more stats or whatever wont cut it. Not gonna lose like that for some silly medal |
| Many MT players have a decent amount of CG points and play well. Defense build > spam defend is very annoying though. |
| MT is over for this time. I played four factions, but had only time to complete three of them. My score wasn’t very good but I really enjoyed the battles. Of course there are some rock-paper-scissors play there, but I also experienced some trial and error. It is very satisfiying to beat a build you previously lost to with improved play. I hope you all enjoyed it as much as I did. Congrats to all medalists! |
Checking the competition info, it appears I've gotten top 10% for CL and faction despite falling in a few winnable battles and some not-so-winnable ones, nice P:
