AuthorWasp swarm AI bug
It clearly says that with expert nature it knocks back the target by 0.6 ATB. But whenever the AI uses it on me, that target never gets a turn anymore as can be seen with my minotaurs here: https://www.lordswm.com/war.php?lt=-1&warid=1135793361&html5=1

But when I use it with expert nature this never happens, even with delay on the target or a very low initiative target. So is this a deliberate AI bug?
I don't know the math but wasn't that just because it was both the barb and the necro knocking the minos back?
Your minos were delayed and necro hero had expert sorcery and hero initiative 11.6. Minotaurs after being delayed had initiative less than 9. With expert sorcery, everytime hero casted a spell he gained next turn 30% faster and your minotaurs were pushed back by 0.6 turn on atb. Got the point?
@Ukak, Even after the barbarian was gone the minotaurs still never got a turn.

@Botmun, No, because when I play necro with expert sorcery and expert nature and I use wasp swarm like this on minotaurs or any creature with low initiative for that matter, this never happens, that creature still gets a turn. When the AI does it that creature never gets a turn anymore.

Well, let's try some math.

After necro casts the spell, he has only .7 ATB to fill before getting his next turn. With initiative of 11.5, that would take him .7 * 10/11.5 = .61 unit of time.

Minos, after getting pushed back, have to refill .6 ATB to get back to where they were. With initiative of 8.6, that would take .6 * 10/8.6 = .68 unit of time.

That means that necro will always get his turn before minos. If he keeps casting Wasp Swarm on his turn, minos will never get their turn.

This worked because minos were slowed. At their normal initiative (10.7), it wouldn't have worked.
Oh, and also because necro has higher than normal initiative (11.5). Who can guess what he was wearing to get that?
That's what I mentioned too...hero initiative is 11.5. Those twilight armours boots and helmets give additional hero initiative.
