AuthorPoT essence
In the current PoT, essences for upgrades must be located at facilities with boring fights with the creatures. Why can't the essences be awarded as follows?

1. Each PoT battle earns some essences.
2. The player can choose which upgrades to use the awarded essences.
3. Upgrades of higher-level creatures cost more essences than the lower-level creatures.
4. Upgrades cannot be reverted once made to avoid everyone converging to the same strategy after a while.

The essence search fights are boring and time consuming. Running around the map to collect the essences is not fun either, even with the tables telling you where to locate the specific essences.
I dont play many events but PoT is definitely my favorite.

I liked the old style where we had fixed crystals, all unlocked units and slowly building CoT with each wave.

Finding units is a pain and the great units can be hit or miss so you have to keep searching for the few OP units that others have already confirmed. Don't like this very much.
The great units are fun to play but most of them are trash too. Waiting days for confirmed OP units is definitely not fun. The essence search fights are truly waste of time. I think they should combine the old style with the addition of great units. Award essence per each PoT win and the player chooses which great units to get.
