AuthorCG potion
Well you can hardly expect to be competitive just because you play every day. If you don't play for years and still expect it then thats just absurd

Yes and no. The game evolves during the years, more events, more guild points, more this, more that. It punishes players that played in the past because the benefits now are way better then they were before.

I left the game as a pumped CL17 (in fsp/guilds) only to come back being a CL17 behind with no way to even be remotly as pumped as a "newer" CL17.

In other MMO games, for instance Runescape. If I leave the game now with my stats being average for my CL, I will still be average after 7 years returning. You should never be punished for not playing 24/7. I will never be able to do CG without 7-8 stats difference. And I aint gonna wait daily for those 2 moments that guildpotion is available. Thats just... dumb and makes people stop playing as catching up will take years and years.

This game changes really fast in stats/guild points/pve content/pvp content but is more friendly to new players then it is to returning players. There arent many players like slayer that have the patience/money/time to make a shitty returning account into a pumped account now. For TG/LG/WG that potion is a step in the good direction. For CG something is missing. This would only make more people play CG so there is no downside to doing what Murali said.

Instead something need to be done to increase the popularity of CG like balanced fights(both stats and anti) every 2 hours etc.
I empathise with the sentiment (I lost a 4 year old character with the merge because it was noob tier overnight) but you're conflating being 'punished' for not playing with being rewarded for playing.

If you leave the game for many years you can't seriously expect to be competitive with those who grind, spend real money and play everyday that you're gone.

lwm is actually good in this respect, most MMO type games move much quicker and you come back after 6 months or whatever to find your legendary gear is trash or inflation means that you're broke.
"...most MMO type games move much quicker and you come back after 6 months..."

IMHO after 6 or more months you return to no game at all. Just move on or after log in delete it for next 6 months at best. This is the only one to have more than a few cases of returning players that actually play on.

As for guild potion, probably we will have something like chest bonus to guild or expensive diamond boost that gives x1.5 points to guild, like in events sometimes, but tripling it.. hm no way.
My suggestion for a cg potion is to make it so you get cg points for group battles and duels
I have no chance to catch up with CG now. I face overpowered guys not only because they have invested time but also tones of $. Yes, I was lazy with CG and now without some booster the best way for me to compete is to quit game.
It could be access to additional battles for underdog characters like myself. For example at XX:15 and XX:45 time. This way still everyone would need to do one's amount of battles to achieve satisfying level. Just thinking loud. Don't beat me, I have been already kicked enough by CG12-13 guys.
for latawica: I like this idea, unlike CG battles where potion of guilds is applied, this would actually (at least theoretically) enable weaker characters to catch the strong ones, earning more CG points per day. At the same time not making anything too easy for them (like giving double rewards etc.).
