Even though some troops have a little higher initiative their turns comes later.
Just had a game where the opponent DE had 8% initiative while I had 9% so I went more of an offensive setup rather than defensive. Now clearly all my troops have higher initiative yet the opponent troops play before mine and I lose.
So just wondering how it works when the difference is small or does it even really matter or not? | Copied from the Initiative section of the Game Help glossary
The pre-combat positioning of units on the bar happens with a random deviation of 0% to 10%. Later, in course of combat, the order of turns changes, troops with higher initiative outstrip those with lower. |
