The original shadow barb had boar riders, ogre magi, cyclop generals, and infuriated behemoths, which they shared with fury barbarians. Their orc shamans also only had 12 mana and weakness (no confusion) IIRC.
There was a change a few years ago that gave it unique troops compared to fury barb - I don't remember exactly when though. |

| Yes it's why you often get a shadow barb with the wrong troops in wg, as it was originally released before they made most of the unique troops |
