|Author||Tips to counter TDE as classic DE|
|Hey guys. I can't seem to find a way to defeat tde as classic de in cg. Lizard mind games is hard enough but the nail in the coffin is enmeshment. He is so much bulkier. I feel like once my lizards are dead or enmeshed, the game is over against defensive tde (and most tde are defensive). Does any of you have any tips? |
|drop ladons for extra split of witches. delay+ double disruption on their single mino stack will allow you to kill them quite quickly |
|same tactic can be used against other monstack factions like shadow barb or classic knight. Even charmer as they are like 80% reliant on unicorns. |

Also, what you are facing is normal in this game. Almost all the alternate factions are complete counter for the classic ones. Dwarf would be an exception to this. :)

i personally struggle against Defensive RD when playing as DD
|why? Just take hell horses with temptress and since they have 22 innit you get like 10 turns to attack with them.. |

well, most of the time you can't get much value out of them since they have really high defense. and too many units to deal with. very low damage against them since at CL15 you don't do 40/40/5/5 instead you normally see like 25/50/6/6. and the pit demons just dray everything
maybe i just played poorly, but just very difficult
1. play more offensively. deal as much as damage before all gated units are ready. if your enemy still have nearly full army after every gating and temptress control, you are surely dead.
2. 2 stacks of temptress, one control devel(hit pit demon with them), annother stack depend on situation, sometimes gated units are also worth for a control since they appear without dark spells.
3 kill pit demons quickly or control it, dont let them perform gating. fiends can kill it easily before its move, it is meaningless to put fiends at back line.

no ladons，1 stack of shrew，several small stacks of witch for disrupt ray.
protect your shrew, don't rush too fast with your other units.
