What are your thoughts on best faction for doing Mercenary Guild quests in levels 6 to 7?
Back before the server merge, I used to have a Wizard that did pretty well in MG but I seem to be getting absolutely stomped these days.
Are there any factions that have an easier time than others nowadays? | Imo, Classic Elf is incredible for PvE battles.
Be sure to select the appropriate favoured enemy for battles involving more than 1 troop type (Army, Invaders and Brigands(not always possible as enemy is random), Vanguards).
In MG quests vs a single creature type such as Monsters or Raids, the enemy will automatically be selected as favoured enemy.
Wizards do get bonus damage vs neutrals based on your faction level but, long ago (not sure how many years ago this was changed), monsters did not have 80% magic resistance. Perhaps that is why you may find Monsters to be impossible to defeat as a caster wizard. |
