| Im contemplating what to buy right now, should I buy the helmet, boots and battleplate of sun or save and get thieves guild invite. I am currently enjoying CG battles but the rent cost is waaay higher than what I win back from battles, so Im looking to what to buy |
| It costs me around 1900 per match on equipment while i get back 1360 only if its a win. Thats around 540 spent extra per cg match. |
I think it depends on how long you will play this game. Playing CG is now is short/quick fun. You can buy the artifacts and play as much as you want.
If you think you will continue to play CG for fun for many combat levels ahead, the best investment is TG. You can buy the invitation and start working on building up other guilds to improve the strength of your character. Raising guilds such as WG, TG, HG, and MG will make you more powerful and you will win more CG battles in the long run with more stats (I think you will enjoy CG even more if you win a significantly larger percentage of your battles). If you can power through to TG5, then you can sell the invitation back to the market and use the gold earned to buy those Sun/Cold artifacts. This route is difficult and can be boring at times. Do whatever will bring you the most joy |
To further demonstrate my point, without the initiative points from TG, you will find yourself losing many more battles as other characters at your level (especially elves) will have their units move before yours. We all know how crucial it is for elves to get the first shot.
I am partial to character building, so do what is best for you. |

Yes, good advice from players here! Saving up for TGI is def worth it in the long run.
Best tip I can give: Play the things you enjoy, do not care too much about "being the best". Its a game, enjoy ;-).
