Assault Golem looks more like Assault Mecha. Any hints on if we get to reset the golem like the previous event?

I'm thinking a mage build, esp if you're already playing might

Finally time for my 5x12 staff to shine :)

I think we've had such an event before that I missed, so some questions
- Is the Golem stronger in the FFA fight than the normal one?
- Does the Golem benefit from Enchants? In particular, if you played the chaos build would you need enchanted rings etc?
- Does the Golem benefit from talents and your arts/build?


If anyone can share fights from previous smuggler vs your army + Khafifa for Holy/Darkness/Ranged/Melee each, that'd be great.


Gut says optimal strategy would just be FFA Elf or Dwarf charger with a ranged Golem.
Seeing as the Golem is Mechanical, Rapid/Evasion might be the only spells that it cares for.

Will be very useful and must have art if aiming for top. Price should increase soon in few days, so better to get yourself one if don't have already.
And maybe get D10 or something on it.

- Does the Golem benefit from talents and your arts/build?
Yes it does. It gets stats based on the arts you war + more.
- Confirmed that Golem has access to Vitality +2 hp. So talents are a go as well.
- Tribal War Cry also manages to give the Golem +1 Speed. Curious if it can use runes? Retribution rune on it might be nuts.
- The Golem also benefits from the Event blessings for attack/protection. Probably not from recruit count.

I'm going to start by just waiting with the golem for the first day or two since more ini is better no matter what build you go finally.

Golem can't use Runes :(
Curious which other faction skills do work with it. Maybe Elf's critical strike?

Also, if you go caster, you might want to pair that with holy + light affinity. 50% mana reduction can be incredibly handy.

I hope the admins will balance the enemy so that factions with heal/resurrect ability won't have a big advantage over the others. Just like on the dwarf faction where Golem can't use the runes.
Questions:

1. How does attack parameters progress? Say, I use the golem only for shooting in a battle. Does it matter that he only gets to shoot once or shoot 10 times? Do both cases get the same optimal improvement to attacking parameters or the latter gets more?

2. Since the golem is mechanic, can the gremlin engineers repair/resurrect it?
It's Mechanical, so it can be healed only using repair and not pharoahs/UN.

Now I wanna see a might Khalifa in action as well.
Get the feeling that at no point does the Khalifa become stronger than your own troops, so you don't want to go full buffer build.

They get the same benefits, doesn't matter if they shot 1 time or 100 times

Only won battles raise the stats. However, after lvl 50, stats get raised even after losses, since the attempts are limited to 75.
in last events with such units for me it seemed that only battles won raise or change any attributes or abilities. Would be easy to cheat by intentionally loosing battles just to make the golem invincible.

I think I'll just wait on day 2 as well. Ini is something that simply cannot hurt to have more of. Especially since at the later levels, you'll be going from 190 attack to 200 attack, which will have very diminishing returns.
