Just an FYI, all the battles I posted in this thread are ones I found interesting while going through the previous forum and hwm.events/ffa. None were private to my clan.
The fights I find in clan mails are pretty insane too but not mine to share. |

I think the logic(which had credence in my mind) is that if the situation gives a benefit to playing later by giving time for the meta to settle and the best strategies to emerge then he will take advantage of these as the way of getting the best results. On a fundamental level it would be desired that this was not the best strategy, but while it was, then he would use it. Of course it is possible to simply not look at others people battles and figure it out yourself, though this moral choice has the consequence of likely resulting in a less good outcome and ground lost in either character progression or gold rewards etc.
Depending upon how competitive you are the balance of moral feelings versus reward from exploiting the circumstance has different outcomes. |
Well there's one thing waiting for best strategies to emerge and making use of that to try and get high rewards, use replays.
Then there's another of going in blind, trusting your abilities and doing the best, hating to wait for someone to pave the way for you.
Judging from his posts in I&S, I think it is safe to say he wants the best of both worlds :D
Can't blame him actually, events are kinda the best source of income in the game. But you gotta choose one path if you want to showcase that to everyone. |
