| To be more specific, MG has changed such that you get more points for some quests. The chance of getting elements or double elements from such quests is also higher. |
To be more specific, if before you would go through all the difficulty levels of a Mercenary quest, now you can jump (skip) by 2, 3 or 5 levels depeding on how easy your current quest is compared to the average/maximum reached for your current Combat Level. After you've reached a medium level, you stop jumping levels.
But, with level jumping, the chance of getting an element as a reward multiplied by the number or points jumped. So, if you did 5 battles of the same MG quest and got 1 element, now you can make one battle worth 5 points and still get 1 element to compensate for jumping the other 4 battles.
That's why many players with higher combat level relative to MG level have gotten a lot more elements, because they've had more battles to jump than the average player |
