| What's the cost involved for getting to SG8? Any tips for beginner stage ? | hi,
i made my personal calculation about i paid for reaching my sg8. First of all you should know, that every point in sg costs 4000 gold. So, reaching level 2 i did it by repairing own items at full cost, so you can see i spent about 440000 gold.
So then i started to find people who sent me items for repairing with 30% efficiency for 20% of cost, which minimizes your own cost for gaining 1 sg point, because the gain of sg points only depends on the repair cost of the item.
So reaching sg 3 only costs 272000 gold instead of 340000.
You can do this now at every level, offering your service to repair x% efficiency for x-10% cost. It will minimize your own gold usage drastically (eg. from 4820000 to 1446000 from sg 7 to 8)
maybe you find people paying x - 5% cost for x efficiency, and at your higher smith level had also some paying x-0% cost, maybe while events when they want items be repaired quickly.
From my own experience since sg lvl 4 to 5 you will find some people, maybe you offer your service in your clan, so clan mates will help you, but from your sg level 6 on, people will find you. from this point i smithed nearly day and night, partially had 30 - 40 items in queue)
To come to and end, i payed about 5 mio gold for reaching sg 8. But you also should know, if you get 102% after reaching sg 8, and if your smith runs day and night, you will need about 7 years to pay out the effords. | Thanks for the detailed explanation, it's quite helpful!
