Here griffin had 1.4 more initiative than patriarchs yet patriarchs moved first.
Also, dark siblys moved later
Griffin initiative 13.4
Dark sibyl initiative 13.3
Patriarchs initiative is 12.3
Now, troops between 0.1-1.0 difference make sense initially. But how is Griff turn later with 1.1 initiative more |
The pre-combat positioning of units on the bar happens with a random deviation of 0% to 10%
10% of Patriarchs is 1.23 |
When I checked the battle using the script,
Patriarchs got 10%
and Griffins got 0% |
I see I used to think that deviation is 0-1 initiative. Didn't know it is 0-10%.

basically you go first for 100% if the initiative of your troop is bigger than opponent's ini divided by 0.9
f.e. Patriarchs initiative is 12.3 so to go first you need to have 12.3/0.9 = 13,[6] ini, so 13.7 |
