I recently realised that there are people who have higher HG levels than me, yet have lower hunting records, therefore indicating them having used more effectively alternative sources of HG points.
Obviously events are one of these, though I also realised survival tournaments can provide HG points if you do sufficiently well.
I enjoyed these a long long long time back, but then realised that in order to do particularly well you have to fiddle around loads with waiting, moving troops from one side to another and knowing which troops are coming next etc.
I cannot be bothered with all that, doesn't sound interesting, however just fighting one and taking it as it comes may nto be so bad.
So is it possible/reasonable to take your best faction, fight 10 battles without mucking around with movement etc and get 10HG points without it becoming a snooze fest? |

for Lord MilesTeg: take fire dwarf and reach wave 5 easily in most tournaments for 1 hg with little to no strategy.
the meat varies between factions, dwarf is lowest so lets call that a factor of 1 on scaling.
dark elf barb have 1.5x meat. knight 2x meat, elf 2.5-2.6x meat
demon tribal and pharoah somewhere between 1.3-1.5x meat,
wizard is also similar to dwarf with like 1.15 or 1.2x meat so you can take battlewise and magic enemies down while hitting enemies for 10k+ with 50 genies. another one that does take much skill to reach wave 5 which is where 1 hg point is rewarded. |
for 1234qwer: its actually quite fun for me. i make it a challenge to try for 10 gold medals with 1 try apiece. virtually impossible for elf on my level due to insanely good opponent but cant succeed if you dont try :)

Thanks for the info. I tried it out with a basic grace set and got 1hg with fire dwarf while playing badly(used resurrection orb to resurrect 0 troops as didn't know what the orb did)
Is probably a more expensive way of doing it, bit infinitely sustainable hg |

For reference the arts I used cost 550 gold per battle.
Though will try again without the shield to make it only 430 per battle and 34 AP and see if I can still get the HG point |

Well this feels like exploits. I had no idea that the survival tournaments paid so well full stop when you actually do well, and certainly did not expect to get anything for basically a min AP run
I got 4400 gold for coming like 29th when just farming it. This reward covers the full cost of the 10 battles. Essentially meaning I got 10 HG points at no gold cost, and with a high level of FSP earned. Just a shame it was so boring!
I can see however that doing one run for each faction in better gear, is likely just as cost effective as the one score will likely cover the cost of your arts and make profit. Just a time commitment as the better you do the longer the battles, and not sure the feeling of building a better character and earning more gold, is worth the less interesting gameplay. |

granted my profit isnt quite as much since i play for top spots so i use potions for each faction besides elf but something similar can be done without potions if you dont care about placements |
