in this battle, the time remaining for the bird's hypnosis at it's turn was 0.69. Taking a scale of 10 on the ATB ,the time for the bird's next turn would be
10/15.2= 0.657, which is less than the hypnosis duration. So why wasn't the bird with me on the next turn? |

Your calculation is made on the heroes 5 ini bar which is continuous however lords uses discrete ini bar so only snapshots rounded to 1 decimal point

Bird starting ATB is 8 (I used a script to find its starting ATB)
So bird starts at 8 meters
It's initiative is 15.2 so it moves 15.2 meters per ATB second
At its first turn the bird is at 114.4 meters in 7 ATB seconds
Once it gets the turn, it is set back by 100 meters thus next round it starts
off at 14.4 meters.
On temptress control, the bird was under hypnosis for 1.09 turns (noting down for myself)
At the bird's next turn the hypnosis is at 0.69 turns
The bird should be at 105.6 meters in 6 ATB seconds from its last turn at this point.
Once the turn is over it is set back by 100 meters thus next round it starts at 5.6 meters.
At the bird's next turn, the bird should be at 112 meters in 7 ATB seconds.
so the hypnosis was supposed to last for 6.9 ATB (an ATB turn is 10 ATB seconds from my understanding) seconds which I think is rounded to 7 ATB seconds so it basically ended the hypnosis on its turn.
Units only get a move if they cross or reach the 100 meter mark (in snapshots not continuous).
This is my calculation after reading the linked article. I am not 100% sure if the 0.69 turns is counted at 6.9 ATB seconds or 7 ATB seconds. I assume 7 but that is just my assumption and a quick crash course from the linked link. |

| to add further ,0.69 turns is counted at 6.9 ATB seconds or 7 ATB seconds since the seduction wore off ,it concludes that it's indeed 6.9 ATB seconds .An estimation if you get the troop for another turn can be done using the formula ceil(10/initiative) which should be less than the duration of seduction at the time of it turn. |
