another quick win, this player was smart and auto as soon as it cames up because he knew he couldnt win
we need more sportsmanlike players like these who turns on the auto button when they know the battle is unwinnable instead of waiting 30s in each move and try to stall as long as possible
this is why im a huge advocate of implementing a chess clock so players cant waste 30s for each move and try to win by timing out their opponent
i lost one battle because the opponent used this strategy (he was playing defense build) and taking 45s per move. after 1 hour+ and realizing half his army is still standing i decided to afk and give him the win. (the battle was an easy win but unfortunately i had to leave for reeal life commitments and lost to timeout) |

ye, over 1 hour man considered filing a report but don't think itll matter since my past reports against players like this never work
its a good strategy if u have plenty of time. some players do this in card tournament too and its very frustrating and unsportmanlike to play.
sometimes i get it, they desperately need the win for gold or trophies, so theyll waste as much time as possible and hope the opponent has to go for real life commitments or make bad moves in frustration |
