sometimes I do Lg battles just to get to last rank of Leader Guild
I use some melee troops with casters and leprechaun
and I notice whenever I use a caster whether this caster have shots or not it will still act as a non-caster which sounds weird to be honest
to give you an example this is a link of a battle
where sky shamans didn't cast rapid or delay and instead they moved

| LEG troops are particularly dim. They make strange moves against enemy casters too. If the enemy casts firewall friendly troops will run to the back instead of forwards. |
| I noticed when you use the stack as 2, they use the rapid/delay more often. I dont know if this was pure luck or really a thing. |
| You need at least 2 units in the stack for them to cast in auto, in general |
