If you registered on .com usually around 25th / 26th it starts.
Then new years happens day before new year usually.
Who knows, maybe this year admins will decide to not celebrate :ppp

To be honest I would be happier for it to be the same as. Ru star of Jan is much less hectic than Xmas day
