I know I make mistakes but it seems really hard to beat without seeing their setup ahead of time? I just always skip that one. |
Mix up factions and strategies for different wg quests. Some are vastly easier with other builds.
For some factions 2 heroes is one of the easiest.
You may want to try a defence build with all your points in defence. I used to think pirate quests were impossibly difficult but then I started playing them as dark demon with all points in defence, made them guaranteed 3 stars. Elf excels at boss quests.
Sometimes a wg quest will just catch you out, some are crazy hard compared to others. Every now and then I surrender a quest instead of trying to force it and get the exp for possible loss or 1 star completion. Some quests I always skip (cough magi arcanum, elemental rift) |
You dont want to go full defense against 2 heroes. They can be chaos mages ans thats insta loss. I find most success with a balanced build leaning towards offense. For example rush elf with defensive items and max attack, or necromancer, or charmer elf with Forest breatheren.
I also use order of devotion 2nd grade. 270 cost per battle but it gives +1 speed for first turn for all my units that need it, helping me clear casters fast. |
| Full off with right placement you could ko dwarf fast. Would split shrews in 3 stacks for archers and im not a fan of ladons but that is just me ) |
