I was a righteous knight — I honored the warrior’s duty and the code of battle, and my courage served as an example to many. Until one day the Darkness consumed me. Do you know what brought about my downfall?.. Carelessness. I never took the Darkness seriously — there was no place for it in my valiant heart. My mind, blinded by the light of virtues, was unprepared to face it — and it devoured me from within. And now here I stand before you — the one whose name has been forgotten in the shadows of a distant past. Do I regret anything?.. No. Someone had to walk this grim path to show it to the others. And you… will you be able to follow it without losing your way?”
Lords and Ladies! The fallen knight known as Tenebreus the Heartless summons all who are willing to endure his grim and treacherous trial. Gaze into the eyes of the Darkness, touch and forge it into your weapon against the enemies of the Empire! Prove that your knightly will possesses the fortitude to remain unbroken by its insidious whispers.
Trial instructions:
1) All Lords and Ladies of combat level 5 and higher are eligible to participate;
2) New! Allowed equipment for battles against enemies 1-3 (high difficulty) = shop artifacts, enchantments have no effect;
3) New! Allowed equipment for battles against enemies 4-6 (low difficulty) = any artifacts, enchantments have no effect;
4) Personal faction armies are unavailable – each Lord and Lady will receive a starting army of the Knight faction;
5) Personal talents, faction abilities, and magic do not work, instead each player receives a preset Knight talent set with an emphasis on Darkness magic and access to its spells. The potion of skill is activated automatically. It is recommended to distribute parameters into knowledge and spell power to effectively use Darkness magic spells;
6) Important! Enemies will be squads and armies of various Wasteland inhabitants, represented as 6 battles of different difficulties at each battle stage in order from the hardest to the easiest;
7) Important! You can attack the same enemy only once, after which battle with that enemy becomes unavailable. For low difficulty enemies (#5 and #6), there are no attempt limits;
8) Complete reconnaissance information will be provided for each enemy before the battle begins;
9) Important! At each battle stage, you have two chances to skip the proposed list of enemies and get a new one. The list of possible joining squads also changes. However, this option becomes unavailable if you attack any of the offered enemies;
10) The selected difficulty of enemies affects the number and level of Knight faction squads, which will join your army upon victory;
11) The main goal – to collect as many squads as possible and strengthen the army to the highest power;
12) You can achieve up to 12 victories per day. The victory limit accumulates. The maximum number of battle stages is 72. No limits on the number of attempts;
13) New! After defeating the enemy of the 24th battle stage, you will be able to reset your event progress. The number of resets is limited to two. Replaying previously completed stages yields no additional valuable rewards, while the experience and faction skill points received in repeated battles are reduced by three times;
14) Preparation for the trial will last 6 days, +3 days to complete battles until March 20 inclusive;
15) All faction skill points earned in battles will be credited to the Knight faction;
16) Rewards for victories include gold, Mercenaries’ and Hunters’ Guild points, creature armaments, diamonds, elements, creatures to the Leaders’ Guild reserve, summoning scrolls and creature parts to the Leaders’ Guild reserve, as well as parts of special artifacts.
During this event you will be able to earn up to 10 parts of War Cloak and up to 10 parts of Imperial Boots. And also up to 10 parts of War Cloak based on the results of the awarding ceremony, taking into account the personal results of each person.
Complete artifacts will be assembled automatically when 100 parts are available. These artifacts cannot be transferred for use or rented, but they can be repaired or enchanted.
- The top 75 military clans and all their active members will be specially rewarded. Awarding will be based on the final clan ranking, where each clan’s final score will equal to the sum of points scored by its top 100 members;
- All unblocked Lords and Ladies of successful military clans will be rewarded if they bring at least 1,500 points to their clan;
- If a Lord or Lady leaves or is evicted from their military clan, the clan loses all of that member’s points. If the member rejoins the clan, their points will be returned to the clan’s score;
- Leaving the clan on the last day of the event and before the award ceremony is forbidden;
- Admission to military clans from the second day of the event is limited to 3 Lords or Ladies per day;
- Important! Lords and Ladies who defeat the enemy of the 36th battle stage will not be able to join any military clan until the event is over.
Important! During this event, the "Battle Exhaustion" system is in effect. Starting from the 15th turn of any battle, the Lord’s or Lady’s 'Mana recovery' and 'Spirit link' talents and the troop abilities 'Life drain' and 'Battledive' will cease to function for units in the Lords’ and Ladies’ armies, and all enemy units will gain the ability 'Attentive', as well as an increase in initiative and speed. Notifications corresponding to this exhaustion will appear as a warning 1 turn before and at the onset of exhaustion.
Extremely important! Pay special attention to the changes made to the talent 'Fallen knight'. In addition, it no longer requires the central talent 'Escort'.
