Hi fellow Heroes of Might and Magic junkies,
not sure where to put it in the forum, I just wanted to appreciate the new style of the game.
A lot to get accustomed to atm but surely feeling the vibes of old. |
Shit update with health potions popping out everywhere trying to force me use to it by misclik in rush.
Another "upadte" which makes impossibe to read how many creatures I am going to hunt because small unit picture is overlapping numbers.
What for do such usless updates?
I would rather appreciate placing auto button inside battle far away from aknowladge button, or battle start button far away from auto settelment button. How many times I pushed wrong one because they are too close? To many times. |
also the firewall update that bricked the auto settlement of demon faction lol
but in general, the updates are appreciated, just needs a little more fine-tuning

LWM is 80% the same as it was in 2008 (on flash) and yet people hate on every miniscule update. |
For me update is an upgrade, not downgrade.
I am no longer able to see how many creatures are available to be hunted and I will be moaning about such "updates". With HG 10 you could not notice such issue, as your hunts are most likely still single digits :P |

Some of the visual updates are not nice looking to me and those who feel that way have the right to say complain. Similarly for other stuff. You wanna see only praises, maybe close your eyes. |

| I'm not too bothered about visual things really, just a different version of stuff and does not really impact stuff. I wonder how much of th visual changes are matched by alterations under the hood which may help with speed and efficiency? Give the Devs tendencies, I cannot see them deciding to change some visuals without some greater underlying purpose, it just doesn't t tend to be how people's motivations work. It is not the sort of change that brings in revenue or makes a big difference, so why choose to do I over something else that may... A game getting on for 20 years of running the same set up is likely clunky under the hood and originally In flash and then tomhtml, who knows what other optimisations may be going on... |

Also why are we allowing the rat to post battle links in unrelated threads when he wins? And when he loses, he posts to the complaints thread decrying his partner. Its the constant need for validation thats souring the forums everywhere. |
