I have played with every faction in the past 15 years even on higher levels. I feel pharaoh isn't strong enough to win against the OG factions, and doesnt even have anything special that would make it interesting to play.
Am I tripping, or does it make sense? | You're not tripping. I advise people not to play Pharaoh if they ever ask. That being said, it is reasonably strong against most factions in duels - it crushes most might factions due to its easy access to holy/darkness spells (while losing to most mages due to low initiative/speed).
The main issue is that mages are very prevalent at higher levels, and thus many PvP battles are lost before they've begun. This isn't really a problem in PvE though, and some people can find it fun to spam holy/darkness spells there. Even then, PvE battles can take a while due to the need to cast said spells - it's not like other factions where one can just charge the enemy. As such, it's not a faction everyone will enjoy.
If you don't like playing Pharaoh, that's ok. PvE events are balanced by faction, so relative strength isn't an issue there. And hunts/MG are biased towards elves/holy knight/wizards anyways, so it's not the only faction that suffers there. |
