I think chaos magic builds can be a bit of problem for us as we have very low hp for our main troops. So my picks are

1) Dark elf
2) Wizard
3) Demon
I don't think Chaos demon is a big threat for Tribal :
- it's a rare build, from the rarest of factions
- red demon units are still the least amount of hp, therefore quickest to kill
- tribal is by far the best against Last Breath : warlords' crusade + enforcers' unruly + shamans' chain_lightning + unf_cyclops' slam

However, a Debuffer DDem (or necro) are a huge threat to Tribal.

Hi, is the following right? Damage is calculated through attack and defence, then (!) tribal spirit is used to reduce the damage.
for Hiltrud:

Tribal spirit absorb the damage inflicted . So less hit points are lost.
I believe it dampens the FINAL damage calculation after everything has been computed (enchants, faction resist, etc.)

1) can anyone suggest the fastest way to reach lvl 3 with troops without waiting for a long time?

I tried going 20 attack 10 defense, but it was useless..

2) Are centsurs reslly important?
I don't see them do more than 2k per 100 centaurs..

3) Should I use shamans for holy and dark spells or for chain lightning? [I use 20 sky shamans]

4) What is the use of vywerns and Cyclops?
they are slow and don't do much damage, except Cyclops can always absorb high damage

- What level 3 are you talking about ?
- Centaurs are a huge meatsack, perfect for bait + soaking all the early damage. And they hit harder than you think
- These are 2 different builds. 2 stacks of 3-5 shamans is really good to Rapid your Enfos + Warlords and Delay the opponent's big threats. The chain lightning build is played differently.
- They are big retal takers. Usually they can take several retals, and are very good for blocking too.
