Theres relatively a big problems with Might and Magic build balance, thats why raise isnt effective.

If they fix that, it should be alright and Necro Talent wouldnt be so useless :P

I don't agree, caling necro a bad faction, they are one of most powefull fact of this game... Just two things...

First one, necro start be better at level 8 or high with max range power, at this level he can beat all factions at range, got a very powefull vamps army, can hit and no take retalation, and ghosts got a crazy beurifull dmg, (my archers do more dmg than ghosts, but they are really strong too)

For beginer some tips...

Focus on set, ap is important for all facts, with right ap you can get 3 lucky some defense and a bit ofensive.

Necro ins't pure might, he is a MAGE! Just ins't a mage of chaos, he is a mage of darkness.. I love use mass delay at level 5 - 7, its help me a lot, and my team too, we can attack 2 times more fast than enemy, and i never lost a 1v1 with my necro...

Never try use mass spells without spell power...
And the last YOU NEED MANA!

I don't know why everyone put on attack, this gonna increvese archer attack, right, but the number do more dmg than 1 or 2 attack power more....

And remember can raise 4 times more is a great advantage... Only beginers call necro a bad faction...

at high levels eg 12 and up... with archiliches and skeletal ragons being the worst possible creatures the army strength just goes down

I concur, We need players with constructive inputs for the faction game-play.

I assume this has more to do with hunts/quests,since 90% of the game is that only. I would say ,it all depends on what you are fighting. If you are facing two stacks of 2.5k-5k sprites, you can not much rely on defense talents. You'll be required to get some darkness/nature magic help. But ,umm, I am kinda getting too much into specifics,i guess.

As to Necro is weak? No. it is not, just play with your talents(when you are level 7+) and you'll enjoy the way Necro is played. I myself never stick to one talent combo,as a matter of fact;)

Learn to use your "Raise dead" ability to it's fullest potential, and you'll be rocking(both in pvp and pve) As an example, I still keep about 40-60 mana for raises, and max the points into attack. we never know ,when we might need it ^.^


N.B.above inputs based on my experience till level 9,don't blame me for anything extraordinary seen;))
at 25 arch liches are an amazing unit they are not the weakest by far
I don't get main idea)topic starter has only 6lvl and trying to said that his faction is weak...yes,may be necro bad at 6 lvl,but you can change yout faction at any moment..don't want to build new castle and become *the meat* without FS lvl?so stay necro..everything simpler
Necro Faction Unit have many crazy ability.
Drain life
Infecting Strike
Incorporeal
Cursing attack
Harvest Soul
And very mad darkness spell that use only 7 ap
If you want to find troop that have a crazy ability try Necro.:)

In high level necro can beat all might faction.
This faction is very strong trust me.

I disagree with TS because necros really are quite good in some battles. Maybe they are weak in your lvl, but I've forgotten. Necros stength in pve comes from the assortment of tactics and choices.

come on, that's what you call balance. you want MIGHT then you have to give up MAGIC; you want MAGIC, so drop some MIGHT.

there is no balance if a faction can get both MIGHT and MAGIC.

as usual, those brain-washed (lol?) might players (often found among knight and nerco players) will always say magic build is useless

might or magic is just your personal view. IMO, each path has its own strength if you had apply it in the right time. take example: dark knight can be good in hunt as well even not much knights dare to try it :)

as far as i know de's can enjoy a bit of both worlds.....
Necro is very powerful their only weakness might be against Wizards
the only thing you must do is protect your bows at all cost and bows will do the rest

the only matter of hybrid form is how you gonna distribute your strength on might and magic to get the balance.

a common example would be knight.

most holy and dark knights just wanna get some Sp and Kn to get some support spells to work ; that's what you call hybrid. invest some on magic but still maintain most of his strength at might; to enjoy a bit of both worlds

somehow, knights can go full offense built which also common found. that's what you call might built.

even it is rare, you still can see some poison knight with full Sp and Kn built. that's what you call a magic built.

YET, i dont see any knight can get his strength on 50% might and 50% magic; that's just a suicide.

a superb Sp poison knight can deliver fancy dmg output with his troops at the same time? i would love to see such combat log too.

lets not go for 50-50 ratio. how about 60%-40% or 70%-30% with might having majority ratio.

hybrid knight may have less attk compared to other might depended faction or might built knights but their holy magic can do wonders as they can caste chastise, stoneskin, evasion. using chastise they can bring their attk equal to might builts...

and i don't see y a knight should go for poison as i feel holy magic is far more better than darkness.....
