I know I have posted my +1 already but wanted to put in this Lords of the rings quote as felt it epresented the situation here a litt;e.

when i joined 6 years ago.. i remember the game being absolutel crazy
there used to be events almost every other day and the place was frenzy with gold digging guys and funny people
but as the years progressed, the game progressed and then came corruption and many players started getting and then the game became boring and then arctic left and that was the reason this game is dying (atleast in .com) |
The main reason the game has shown a decline in popularity and population is the graphic..
there will always be new players that will leave in a few months time. the ones that are loyal to the game are the old players.
dont worry this game will not die. at least not in this 3-5 years
still there is always room for improvement(in fact plenty of them), so good luck |

I don't think that it's the events that's lacking here. We are having even more events than we previously used to have.
The problem is the Variety. With every event that we get we see a repetition. The POT was fun initially, but then it became a chore. Pirates were fun at first, but then it became a chore. Survilurgs... I love them, the only thing that I play now. :P
The sole way of attracting gamers is variety, and HWM has an amazing variety "In Store". The problem is, we know that there are almost 3 - 4 new factions which are "FUNCTIONAL" yet not introduced and we have to wait 6months + for each of them. Post level 14 the game does not really have any sort of variety to offer. Not that MG5 is really going to change anything imho.
What makers keep forgetting is that the game primarily runs on players above Lvl 14, be it donations or the game itself, and if they are catered they will stay back. Give some variety, if not to the whole game but mainly to lvl 14+ and you'll see a surge in the game. |

The reason for this thread is to show the admins that ICC and this petition got the entire community supporting it. Every post saying something else decreases the chance for it to become real. Every +1 increases the chance.
I want you to carefully read the first post and decide if this is a step in the right direction. If it is, show your approval.
This is not meant to go all the way, just a manageable step in the right direction. After we have taken it, we can take another. |

Quite pessimistic about the whole ordeal. Admins have never took com community seriously. We're the nameless shadows in dark alleys of St. Petersburg.

Good ideas so +1. I think variety of events @106 could be a big help. I don't really mind the bad graphics, I do mind the lack of english speaking players. Yes, google translate works ok, but i like to talk tactics and a lot is lost in translation.
Advertising should be done more often. I've been playing since... 2007? due to advertising on travian. I'm not playing that anymore for a long time, but this game stuck around. It deserves a bigger crowd. |

Keep also in mind, that game still use old Flash technology what is not present on modern portable devices.
Game need conversion to HTML5 standard - and this need time and free hands...
Create a dedicated game client is also a solution. But this also need resources. |
