I meant translation team not creative. How on earth did I manage to think one thing and write a completely different word. Doesn't bode well for any appearance of competence by me today. |

for virtual_vitrea:
have you watched The Pitt btw? it's about doctors working in the ER |
Nope. I know there's some excellent medical shows, but they have such realistic things happen at times that take me out. And its hard personally to watch a medical show that trades realism and accuracy for drama. Lemme say very rarely is there an instance in real life where someone will overstep their role. Or override consent. A cool and attractive intern who has so much autonomy and agency doesn't exist. Algorithms exist for everyone's safety and you better believe medicine lives in this bubble of extreme hierarchy and probably the only work where there is always "the usual way of doing things" which is superior to someone winging it. |
unrealistic* in first sentence.
Ah we need to hire someone to petition admins for forum edits like once every month. |
It's fine, accept that typos will exit |
I love doctor house. The characters are entertaining |
We're watching house at the moment. Gotta love Hugh Laurie, though everyone does a good job. I particularly like it since it is the first properly decent program we can watch as a family as have spent a fair bit of time watching less good things as kids were too young for anything better. |
I loved him on Blackadder and Jeeves and Wooster.
Excellent comedian. |
I’ve went on a huge Fry and Laurie binge a few months back. He’s great, and so is Fry, ofc |
I was too young to see these when they were originally released, and while I've seen the odd scene on YouTube or in a documentary or some such never properly watched it. I can imagine given the nature of then as writers it may date a little better than often happens with comedy(also by implications by your post) |
