watch the battles, they do not get resurrected.
In fact, they do not even get hit at all. AI hits skeleta bowmen and archliches. |
Saw it! what i learnt from that is
Ai usually go for the ones without resistance <Dunno about defense> but same class "Shooter"
but then again why target lich first?
1> they are in shorter number
2> Comparatively lower health and stronger attack
3> higher priority?.. why?
(a)Coz can caste spells
I saw a similar battle once in which a level 9 player had orc chiefs
the total shooter in complete army were
90 Centaurs outriders -1 <10>
40 chiefs -3 <9>
20 Succubus -2 <10>
the above shows the order they were attacked
Question is why hit succubus when there are better shooters like orc chiefs? |

It's not only about the number of shooters or how much damage they can do, it's really a very smart AI
Sometimes they prefer to hit units in range or units that have the next turn or even units that are very weak or few but can block their shooters in their next turn.
For example: I'm a level 11 barb
When I hunt shooters, they normally shoot my orcs first, but when I put my wolves 6 tiles away from them (Not in range but speed of wolves is 6) they shoot wolves
When they finish wolves or when number of wolves can't do a significant damge to them they shoot ROCS if they are in range and their turn is before orcs' turn
If rocs are away they shoot orcs
It's like you're fighting a real player not AI ! |

From the story line it is clear that the wilderness has lot of resources so we may get lot of mines there :)
Let see who's gona control that area .
