Each Necromancer faction skill level allows you to take more of those into combat. | if i use my reserve skeletons in a battle and i won after the battle would the reserve skeletons still be there of its like artifacts durability that gets used up??? | If you lose a battle, all the reserve skeletons you took with you sill die.
If you win the battle, but lose skeletons, first of all the reserve skeletons are dying. So you will lose as many reserve skeletons as there are dead (of course, it only counts the reserve skeletons that you took. Let's say you have 25 skeletons, and you took 15 reserve ones, so that you have forty, then you lose 20 in the battle. You will only lose 15 reserve skeletons, the other ones are recruited and will regenerate with time.) To evade this, simply use Raise Dead on the skeletons, if you raise all, you lose nothing.
If you win a battle with your Pillar of bones effect, reserve skeletons aren't lost, even if all your skeletons "died" in combat. You will still lose them all if you lose the combat, regardless of whether the Pillar effect was or off.
Just for case: the Pillar also gives you 100% necromancy. This means you get twice the normal amount of skeletons after battle from the defeated living creatures of your enemies. | how do get reserves? | After each combat you have a chance to raise skeletons from the enemy living creatures killed by you and your troops. The amount depends on your Necromancer faction skill. Skeletons cannot be raised from undead, elemental and\or mechanical creatures. |
