Author | material to produce |
i saw there is alternative way to buy some artifact in market. it link me to the factory.
so, in factory, i saw the material required for an artifact. is that mean IF i collect all the materials and go this factory then i can make my own artifact? | There are two tables on the facility shop.
One of them is called "Produced" and contains column "Price". You have to collect all of resources listed in this column including gold. | let's say i want get a steel, i have to buy 2 ore + 1 wood, go to the factory pay the gold + material to get the steel?
i thought i can buy directly at the Produced section while the bottom section was for player to create item with material but not paying gold. | Let me explain with an example. Let's take this Medals of bravery workshop.
http://www.heroeswm.com/object-info.php?id=5
As you can see, the price is 1300 gold and 1 crystal. If you have that much, and if there are items in stock, you can buy one right away.
Artifacts don't just appear in stock after someone clicks a button :) They do because players work at the facility.
Everytime you enter the enrollment code, you actually produce/quarry something at that facility. See the columns below?
In order to create one medal, the enterprise needs 1 crystal, 1 steel bar and 2 hours of labor (or 1 hour of 2 players' labor). It means that one medal of bravery is a result of 1 crystal and 1 steel multiplied by two hours of work.
The economics here is quite balanced. Check this:
The workshop buys 1 crystal at 372 and 1 steel at 754. (1126 total). After that, it pays the wage to 2 workers for their hourly labor (200*2=400, 1526 total).
A customer comes then and buys a medal. He or she pays 1300 gold and 1 crystal. So the facility is at -226 balance, but has an extra crystal, so that at the next production session it will spend 372 gold less. Therefore, the net income of the facility per medal is 372-226=146 gold.
Facility is happy. So are you:
-you can buy your medal nearly anytime,
-you can sell steel and more crystals at a higher price than the one you buy them at mines
-you can provide your labor there and get your wage, as well as a good feeling of "I worked at this medal myself" :)))
-you can enjoy the medal effect in combat ;) | my apologize on my lame english... i still blur.
the bottom input for material means i sell the material to factory? or i pay the material + working time = get the product? | All these actions are connected only from the enterprise's point of view. As to you, you can do any 1 of them, or all of them, just as you need/like.
-You can buy an item for its *Price* (1300, 1 crys for the medal).
-You can sell resources there, just to get money (which you supposedly spent before to buy those resources). In the workshop's case, resources are steel and crystals only, so you can't sell other res.
-You can work there, just to get your wage (200/hour) without selling or buying anything =) | for Pang:
Forget all your past gaming experience about buying/producing items. This is an online game and as such is simple as a sandal. No, you can not manufacture artifacts anywhere on the map (you can participate in their creation and buy them later). No, you can not produce for yourself even steel, nickel or magic powder. And finaly no, you can not even sell raw materials with profit in the shops. There is no real economic side in online games. The one you find here is probably most advanced. I suggest you just enjoy really nice combats and character progress. | By "online games" I mean actually "browser online games" of cource, because there are online games like "World of Warcraft" and many other, which have nothing to do with browser online games. Anyway, beyond all the critique, the players here are happy to enjoy one really great product. | 7.
er... cant sell raw material? i buy wood with 175 gold, sell to factory with 176 gold. even the profit is just 1 gold, still consider as a profit.
yet, who care how other game work? i only concern this when i m playing it. by the way, screw the WoW, i dont like it TOTALLY. | 9 What Georgia meant is, it is not a tradition of online browser games to enable resource trading and other economical features. | so, for example, if i do want to buy an amulet of luck, i can either:
1. go there with 2900 gold and 1 gem and buy it outright; or
2. go there with 3 wood, 1 nickel, 1 gem, work for 3 hours and get the amulet at the end of it. is that right? | It isn't.
You will understand it if you read my post 4.
You can buy an item ONLY for its price.
You can produce an item using the materials that the enterprise owns (bought it from someone, maybe you), but the enterprise will keep it, just paying you your wage. | i understood now.
you go factory, 3 options come up:
- you at there to work (earn golds and labor point)
- buy something from it with gold + material (top table)
- sell something to it with material (bottom table)
we just dont produce something in factory with material. right? | Absolutely ) Well, you do produce it while working, that's what you are working at, but the facility keeps the items. So you can buy it at the price in top table (sometimes gold only, no materials). |
