howm dont have factions from homm5 expensions
(barbarian faction is stronghold from homm3.)
and i thought of this
when i use scouts or orcs, since they are semi archers,(reduced damage in range)
why cant we switch them to melee?
cause i see enemy in my range, i can kill it in melee, but i cant. so i use range then enemy charge to me and my units are dead...n

| orcs don't have reduced range damage... |
| use shift + click to the enemy in your range and it will do melee damage. |
