| knights are best for start, because they are only faction with good archers at 1st level. |
4, but this makes them weak if one time any 1 reachs bowmen it is over
in my eyes there is no "best start faction" that one who plays with more tactic will win |
I'd say Dark Elves, because they have the very powerful Earthen Spikes spell at first level, and their troops inflict a lot of damage.
But I suggest you choose your faction for the long run. You won't stay low level long and changing faction is harder and harder with each new level. |

Dark elfs easily the best start ones but not so good later on in the game
recon demons are hardest to start with and so low in numbers but looks like they get massively cool stuff later on |
Elves are the best on low-level hunting and maybe are the best hunters ever.
Elves are the best on low-level duels (without real money), perhaps till lvl 4.
Necros are the best on duels since lvl 3 if they donate for skeleton archers.
From lvl 5 there isn't any 'best faction'. Just play good =) |
on level 1-2 best are dark elves, whit little of tactics they can win all
also are good knights becouse while enemi reches archers they can kill half of them and then archers will win even in close combat, but dark elves to fast for them and will win...
after level 3 almoust best are elves, only knights and lucky heroes can handle them |

I agree with Kush :) Its better to stick to 1 race which u learn to play :) But I must admit :
Elves a little advantage in duels and group battles.

| There really isn't one best faction, each faction has a weakness and a strength...I might be biased buy early on Barbarian is kind of medium, requires some skill, but at later levels, if you attack magic users, you're almost immune to magic, gg :) |
| Lol all factions actually has their playing style depends how you play with the faction... If you get the faction that would suit your style then you will go a long way in this game... |
