Dark Elves need a buff or some kind of additional bonus/skill to allow them to be up to par with other factions.
The thing is Dark elves are completely underpowered in comparison to other guilds.
All factions pretty much benefit the entire faction but Dark elfs.
Demon = Gating, that is powerful, slow but powerful
Knights = more units
Necro = Resurrection
Elf = Faster + favoured enemies
Barb = good magic defense (as pretty much all factions have spell access)
Wizards = extremely strong spells (for neutral enemies) plus the ability of mini-artifacts.
Then it comes down to DARK ELF
Dark Elf = Magic piercing? what? that barely affects anything.
Dark Elf are in need of a buff or something along the lines of that to be up to par with other factions.
Each faction are pretty good by themselves, some stronger then others but not extremely, but when it comes down to Dark elfs = they are just far too weak in comparison to other factions
I as a dark elf player say that DARK ELFS SUCK. The only reason i play it is because i like the idea of, THE DARKER side of elfs.
That is the only reason and will remain the only reason until things are changed. This is probably the only reason to all other players who use DARk elfs or they want to try something new but they later find out it sucks and dont really want to continue using them.
Could the admins please try to make some changes to this faction to balance it out please? Hopefully before the tournament begins |

Dark elves are strong...
I think piercing magic means that the magic ignores defence. On higher levels they deal a great amount of dmg with a spell. |
Piercing Magic means, if the monster had defense against magic, this is when dark elf's ability kicks in, else its just like any other spell caster. (everyone faction has it except barb)
And no dark elves are not strong |
| Yes they are:) Just people like him invested everything in mana :) Spellpower = dmg. Dark elves are similar to wizards in this things. Check a battle of a high level wizard or dark elf:) |

I have a valid reason why dark elfs are indeed weaker then all other factions.
You are just saying random bs which has no meaning here.
Pretty much ur saying wizards are the same as elfs?
ok explain this, how does dark elfs benefit in comparison to wizards, if u like comparing soo much.
Wizards = has mini artifacts
Dark elfs = huh no mini arts here, what? piercing magic that affects 1-2 units? uh huh.

| I am telling that cause i fought alot of dark elves and they are quite anoying. Especially for my swords. Maybe you are a little weaker since you have only 1 spellpower. If you had 5 or 6 you would be pretty more powerfull. Lets leet other more experienced dark elves speak. |

and i have a solution for ya dont play dark elfs if you think this ok
the guys that made this game have put a lot of effort into making it fair for all and dark elfs are no weaker any other fraction
this game is about tactics use the strenghts and protect the weakness
thats what the games all about find a battle plan that suits you and try to win |
| the dark elves Rogues are dangerous units.They hit very hard and they are relitivly fast too.and the strike and move back ability makes them more likely to survive an incounter |
To Felix: Of course this game is about tactics strategy etc. I have played all the Heroes of might and magic, well not 5 but pretty much all. Im just saying that dark elves are not up to par with all the other factions, it is still weak.
Of course everyone has strategies to overcome obstacles or w/e like gammes against other races. But even with strategy, the game has to be balanced, u cant say for example
Strategy
use 1 sprite to kill 1 minotaur (saying both are tier 1 even though minotaur isnt)
Of course in this situation other factions arent 10x stronger but this is just an example of how dark elves arent balanced to other factions in this game.

Not many people are dark elfs and if they are, they already maxed out another faction.
There are reasons for this. Thus is why i hope the administrators can gather up all the info about what needs to be changed, buffed, nurfed etc into a more balanced game. |

I think how many accounts people have is the think that shows which races are the most popular/powerfull or they are hard to paly with. As I noticed alot of players go knights cause they are used to human races. Elves are a little 2 strong but not so anymore since the talents. |
Def most of what u say is correct but the reason dark elves are higher is because people like the idea of dark elfs
the darker half of an elf. They are the weakest faction but people play it because they like the idea of dark elf. the cool factor. nothing more |
You have yet to try out Dark elfs. I know what i'm talking about, and you probably dont because you dont have any experience with dark elfs.
Knights are pretty average, not overly strong but not weak either.
but dark elfs are just weak. They have one core unit. rogues(shrews) but wow thats just like 1 unit doesnt make up for the weakness of the entire faction in its entirety.
Of course since this game is still in like alpha stage i can see why factions arent really balanced out. but def you need to understand dark elves are way below the other factions and something needs to be changed to make it up to par with the other factions |
actually i think dark elves will be a powerful faction at higher levels i have played with them before they are powerful i had heaps of wins with them...
Shrews has a strike return, no retaliation
Minos Soldiers have double strike which will be a massive dmg... aswell as high hp
so yea they not that underpowered... i believe def is a bit more experienced so try to listen to him ok? ok...
Just have patience your time will come and people might not play it because they think its cool but because its strong aswell...
Do a survey first to see wether ppl play it because its cool or because they think its powerful...

I can make my own game. for example i make a faction
with all units at 100 atk 100 def
and i make all ur units in ur faction 50 atk 50 def
are you still going to say hmm, my faction is stronger, it requires skill but it sstronger

ok then how do i not know what im am talking about? and no faction is greater than another they could be a little but not so much that a good strategy cant over come...try different strategies they might work....
As for would it be classified as elf's are underpowered because their elven bowman die first?
Knights are soo powerful seeing as to maximize their potential you will need to have a high faction lvl which takes a while to lvl up so yea its hard for them are they underpowered? Wizards they need mini arts or else they will have a hard time fighting, sure they have spells but at low lvls it wont do as much...Demons they are powerful but the power units dont have high hp but lower tier units do but dont do so much dmg, Necro need their ressurection or els they lose and ghosts only have wat 8 yes 8 hp that is extremely low now lets compare ghost to same tier dark elf unit umm Mino which 31 hp. 8 hp compared to 31 hp... So basicaly dark elfs are so underpowered... Include every faction not just your own... |
