Ok, i read that there is a limit at 1 point of luck to having it trigger more than once in 5 turns.

In my last game, at the end it came down to me against a barbarian with 1 point of luck. It looked like a sure victory until he managed to get 3 critical hits in a row against me, slaughtering my remaining troops. Am I misunderstanding how this is supposed to work?
