I got to level 1 in labouring recently, but i see no increase in my wage. Could someone please tell me.

Level 1 labour guild has coefficient 1.2
It means that you will receive 1.2 * initial wage.
Suppose if you work on production mine which wage is 200. You will receive 200 * 1.2 = 240 gold. |
Example:
Type : Sawmill
Location: Great Capital
Wage : 170
You have 1 level of Labours guild, so Productivity is 1.2
If you work on this mine, you receive 170*1.2=204 |

Your productivity increases - you get more gold. The factory will say that salary is 200 gold, but with LG 1 you'll get 200*1.2=240 gold. |

You have it increased without seeing it as other explained before.
Just enroll writing down your gold, then wait for the end of shift. CHeck the gold you got. Easy. |
