Wasn't he basically giving back donations people made to him to receive ranks in New Elite? To me it's as simple as that and shouldn't lead to any penalty. Not that Warlord would care much, BTW.
He could not give *all* money received from *all* sources, namely taxes collected, because a lot of the money was burnt into smithing skill. So Warlord just did what he thought was the best when shutting down his clan.
At least, that's the impression I have.
And I think New Elite website will just be used to create a community again, but for another online game. That's how I interpret the strange messages left on the homepage. |

its already a bad decision to close down a clan by his own will, a clan belongs to everyone in that clan, not his own, even if he did discuss with some of them who are more "upper", 150 more still don't know anything, so what better and wiser decision could he thought of?

as far as i know some of them who received the gold and elements do not even have a "rank", but maybe just those who helped built up the clan from the start, but i personally see one who didnt |

Even the clan is down already, 2 "members" still give tax clan. :)

| I think closing the clan was a tad irrational and that he should have delegated leadership other than that I still respect the guy and have nothing else to complain about him. Sure I was slightly annoyed that I lost 50k in the clan (and I don't count taxes because it would be idiotic to) but not as annoyed as I was that Commander and Erlemar didn't go down first. |
