check Wisard faction reference. |
looks like ignore targets defense means ignore by x% from your enchantment. so the greatest enchanter can ignore 40% of target's defense for 1 art. this is bad thought, perhaps even the worst from enchantment. if you get 40% earth damage, for example, you really get 40% more damage. but if ignore targets defense, for example fighting skel bowmen, who have only 2 defense. 40% from
2 can be considered as 1, means you get only 5% more damage for 4 moonstones and abrasives. if you fight against high-def creatures its still worse than 40% elemental damage. only good when you have more than 1 art so you can get 100% ignore defense. but only if this theory is true. Has anyone ever tried it? |
Modificators on magic resist do not take away from efficiency of weapon enchantings - the result is achieved by multiplying.
Example: attacker has a mod +15% fire dmg, defender has +10% of fire resist. The result is +15%*(0.9)=+13.5% additional fire dmg.
Barrbs' MR is considered when counting additional dmg with magic. So is other MR - example: stack deals 100 dmg, with 4% fire dmg they deal 104 dmg, but to golems (50%MR) they deal 102 dmg.
Translated in a hurry from russian, hope it helps :)
- Copied my post from enother topic on enchanting, hope it helps. |

is that formula right? Coz if it's true, armor enchantments don't seem to be much good :( |
Hey,
For mini-arts.. Can you use the same art (luck) on two stacks of your army.. (golems and gargoyles) ?
Any help is greatly apprecaited. |
for Kiz:
I translated the post of one of admins. He wrote it when enchanting was introduced first. Formula in example I took without changing a single number.
for wicked03:
If they are single miniarts (the kind that you can make) then you can only have luck on 1 stack. For double or triple miniarts you can have luck on several stacks, but miniarts can't be exactly the same - so if it's +6 att +2 luck on golems, it has to be +5 att +2 luck on gargoyles (for example) |
Ok, thanks a lot.. one last question.. Can you give them more than one mini-art? |
9:
no, golems would be +5 attack and +1 luck, you can't put two +2 lucks on. |
@Xerfer:
Are you saying that you can put more than one mini-art on anything? |
u can have 2+ luck and 5+ attack |
wicked03, when you level up your faction skill level you can have double-arts and triple-arts. triples are available at faction level 7 if i remember right, and doubles are available at faction level 4 i think. until then you can equip only 1 art per stack of creatures. |
Ok, thanks a lot!! |
Oops.. forgot to ask:
however you can you use the same art on two stacks?? (just to get it clear) |
for Xerfer:
Well, Brilliant has +8 def +8 att +5 hp on gargoyles, and +8 def +8 att +2 luck on golems, so mini-arts have to be just a little different, not totaly different.
for wicked03:
you can you use the same art on two stacks??
No. They have to be at least a little different (if double or triple). Obviously can't be the same if only single. |
@Shebali:
Ok. thanks a lot! |
