| well, my experience in thieving is from the russian server. i was level 6 DE with shrews, without poisoners. reached TG2 for about 10 days with almost 90% wins and very few arts, which makes me think, that without the upgrade + full arts wouldn't be a problem to be done in 2 weeks. level 6 is the best for thief advancing after all... |

Yes, it is.
I did it as a wizard - one of the worst possible class for setting ambushes. No diamond upgrades either.
Bear in mind that if you are at a disadvantage when encountering players, you'll meed caravans 80% of the time. And these caravans match your level. A level 6 caravan is no joke, but can't compare to level 7 and 8 caravans. They are far much easier.
All in all, I'd go as far as suggesting that it's easier to do ambushes at level 6-7 than on higher levels. |

but today maybe the admin change the system, since i never met players that doesn't has the same level as me. so players are much better target for now(because they are with no arts, and archers at disadvantage, and they sometimes AFK), except if its 2 on 1 of course.
also, since the caravan always has the same level as us, so i think level doesn't matter. i think its possible to reach level 6 thief at level 8(maybe) if you keep on ambushing and don't do PvP. But because high-level players complained about impossible ambush at high levels, then i also suggest to do ambushes at low levels |
